One of Vikor’s most beloved and valued team members, William Herron, has recently been recognized by his peers as Employee of the Month (April 2021). William, a Reconciliation Specialist, is responsible for reconciling acute care issues, missing information and critical collection date reports. His manager, Mary Katherine DiFilippo, praises him for quickly adapting to the guidelines and protocols of the Accessioning Department as well as his superb communication and technical skills. With a fun loving and warm personality, William brings joy to all of us here at Vikor and we are honored to highlight him.

In his own words, William articulated what Vikor as a workplace – and a family – means to him:

“I could never fully articulate the sheer emotion I have with being recognized by my peers as Employee of the Month. What I have determined is that there isn’t a way to say thank you enough. There is no greater honor than knowing that I have made a difference in the daily life of someone that I work with here at Vikor. I have strived to live each day with the goal of making someone else smile because you never know the struggle that another person is going through. The thought that I maybe would have made the struggle a little better because of a kind word or a smile, gives me the strength to get through my own struggles. If I could leave you with one thing to remember each day I hope it is this: Forgive others. Love Hard. Love Honestly. Pull your loved ones in close (even your furry ones).”
