With great habit of working hard and taking initiative, Lawton Bair is an extraordinary member of the Vikor team. His peers commend and recognize Lawton as Employee of the Month (August 2021) in a landslide vote, noting his “constant, daily efforts and demonstrations of value and precision.” Mary Katherine DiFilippo, Director of Clinical Operations, describes Lawton’s work ethic as “commendable” and his leadership as “making a huge difference in the Accessioning Department.”

Lawton responds to winning this award with his trademark thoughtfulness and humility:

“I am beyond honored to receive the Employee of the Month award. I began at Vikor as a temp employee. Within six months of hard work and great Vikor management, I was promoted to Team Lead. It feels very good to know I work for a company that appreciates its employees and feels more like a family.

Both of my grandfathers were Veterans of the U.S. Navy and taught me what it means to lead with integrity. Both Gentlemen taught me that not only is leadership about what you do, but how you do it. First, focus on execution with attention to detail. Second, attitude is a key variable to success, so every day I motivate my team to do their best and work towards greatness. Third, being a good leader means nothing without a good, solid team. Remember to thank each team member who supports you along the way.
