Shea C. Harrelson, PA-C
Co-Founder
Shea Harrelson is an experienced clinician and entrepreneur with a demonstrated history of working in the medical and biotech industry. After graduating from the Medical University of South Carolina with her Physician Assistant degree, she practiced in the field of Cardiology for nine years. She then joined St. Jude Medical where she specialized in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Division.
Shea began her entrepreneurial career in 2013 with building a national sales commercialization and worked with several start-up companies to bring new diagnostic products to market. While always passionate about the medical field, Shea is specifically driven to develop modalities to help combat the global epidemic of antibiotic resistance, which led her to Vikor Scientific.
Shea manages the internal operations, employees and resources of Vikor. She is responsible for the initial and ongoing development of the diagnostic panels and testing algorithms and the overall planning, implementation, and integration of the company’s strategies.
Scotty Branch
Co-Founder
Scotty Branch has been an executive, entrepreneur and founder for multiple organizations from the corporate pharmaceutical world to the diagnostics and lab industry. Before becoming an entrepreneur, he held multiple positions with large pharmaceutical companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Novartis and Roche. These positions ranged from sales representation to corporate management.
As a Co-Founder of Vikor Scientific, he manages the business relations of Vikor, which includes the management of the Sales Division and Area Vice Presidents, C-Suite relationships with healthcare institutions and commercial partners, payor relations, and other facets of the business growth, including the new WestEdge project.
Dan Nodes
Chief Operating Officer
Dan Nodes has more than 20 years of experience in life science, manufacturing, government, technology, and consulting sectors. His career focus has been helping organizations achieve business efficiency and growth through improved operations, planning, and employee development. Prior to Vikor, Dan was an Executive Director for Charles River Laboratories where he helped shape global business growth and operational strategies for its Microbial Solutions business. He has also served as Secretary on the Executive Board of SCBIO. Dan has worked for global management and consulting companies creating and executing program management offices and business development efforts. Dan began his career working as a legislative assistant on Capitol Hill for a South Carolina congressman.
Dan received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Clemson University and Master’s degree in Government from the University of Virginia.
Manish P. Patel, MD, RPH, FACS, FPMRS
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Patel is a dual board certified specialist in Urology and Male and Female Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery. He practices in Columbia , S.C and is Affiliated Faculty at the Medical University of Carolina. He has been in medical practice since 2002. He graduated as Valedictorian and an Alpha Omega Alpha Chair from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. Subsequently, he completed his formal Urologic Surgery and Reconstructive training at the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Dr. Patel is also an alumnus of Rutgers University College of Pharmacy, where he graduated with high honors and worked thereafter to gain experience in the pharmaceutical research industry as a pharmacist prior to medical school. In addition to the last 18 years of medical practice, Dr. Patel has authored and co-authored numerous publications, served as a keynote speaker and lecturer for medical seminars globally, and participated in leadership on several boards for new drug and device developments.
Dr. Patel has served in the past roles of Chief Medical Officer, Director of Research and is a key opinion leader in health care delivery. Most recently, Dr. Patel has focused his career pathway on understanding and creating innovative uses in genomics and genetics to assist his fellow medical providers in utilizing these advancements to treat patients accurately, rapidly and effectively to improve health care outcomes for patients and hospitals.
Saeed R. Khan, Ph.D
President of Research and Development
Dr. Saeed Khan is a highly talented and accomplished scientist with more than 20 years of experience in Pre-clinical drug development, Anticancer drug design and discovery, Molecular Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, Computer-aided drug design of oncology drugs and Regulatory Science and Regulatory Research and has managed numerous multidisciplinary scientific laboratory projects. He is a proven leader, director, proactive collaborator and is adept at stimulating momentum and building successful teams. He received his Ph.D. in 1997 in Biomedical Science at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and has served as a Biomedical Scientist at M.D. Anderson. He has also served as a Professor and Director of Drug Discovery and Development Center and a Co- Director of Pharmacology-Analytical Center at Johns Hopkins University of Medicine. He currently serves as a Senior Scientist and Head of the FDA-DOD Shelf life Extension Program of Drug Products at the FDA as well as an adjunct faculty member at Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Kelly Damiano has over 15 years of progressive experience in management, accounting and finance. Her specific focus has included public accounting and corporate finance in the medical technology and healthcare industries. She received her Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of South Carolina.
Edward S. Spivey
Director of Commercial Communications
Spider Spivey has over 20 years of experience in the Financial Services, Risk Management and Insurance Industries. He is a tenured Director of Operations and has spent the last five years working with sales teams and diagnostic laboratories across the United States.
Adam Holden
National Sales Director
Adam has extensive experience in sales, marketing, and operational growth in the areas of Molecular Diagnostics, Anatomic Pathology, Genetic Testing and Long Term-Care. Throughout his 15 year career he has led successful sales teams both domestic and internationally. His skill set is focused on strategic thinking, collaborative sales training and developing corporate healthcare partnerships. Adam is passionate about introducing cutting edge science with the latest advances in technology to improve patient and resident lives.
